Mosaic making is fascinating and addictive. I’ve been creating mosaics for interiors and gardens for many years. Inspired by the countryside surrounding my home, ceramic and glass tesserae, smalti, vintage china, pebbles, marble and mirror all find their way into my intricate work. I sell my work at exhibitions and by commission, please contact me to explore any commission ideas.
I am an experienced tutor and have run workshops for The National Trust, Denman College, Hawkwood College, The Gloucester Arts and Crafts Group, and numerous art clubs, as well as running my own popular workshops from my Gloucestershire studio.
I produce vibrant contemporary wall hung mosaics working with a mixture of materials from vitreous glass and ceramic through to natural marble and slate. I also like to incorporate individual pieces of vintage porcelain or worn down ceramic found washed ashore British beaches to give my work a greater depth, with each fragment holding a hidden history or journey of its own.
I produce mosaic panels, commissioned house numbers and personalised wedding hearts and am also showing my work in exhibitions.

Originally I trained as a jeweller and silversmith at Birmingham School of Jewellery, but I have transferred my skills to designing and making mosaics. Still gem-setting in lots of ways with highly reflective materials, just on a larger scale! I am currently inspired by the positive/negative patterns created by tree branches and the richness of highly decorative East European embroidery – bright colours against dark backgrounds.
I work to commission, on exterior and interior panels and I’m creating a range of work to sell online, in local galleries and from my studio. Prices range from £20-£300 for existing work and £350-£4000 for commissioned mosaics.
