I trained in bookbinding at Westminster College Oxford and have been enjoying making books for sixty years. I retired from teaching twenty years ago and earned income from a design and print business. More recently I enjoyed giving free tuition in bookcrafts, but circumstances now lead me to concentrate on preparing books for sale and bookcraft kits and instructions for distant home learning.
I have developed several styles of binding such that young or old beginners to the craft can quickly produce excellent results with minimal tools. Finished books are available for sale, or can be made to order. I still have digital printing equipment capable of producing greetings cards and such like. My ethos and choice of materials strongly supports handmade, recycled, and quality products. In common with many craftspeople I work in a timely fashion but will not be rushed.
