We play a crucial role in keeping alive the skills essential for preserving the world’s most important monuments and buildings, and are proud to offer the UK’s only undergraduate and postgraduate courses in carving.In 2019/20 we will be re-launching our longstanding and successful 3 year diploma and 1 year PgDip carving courses as BA (Hons) Historic Carving: Architectural Stone; BA (Hons) Historic Carving: Woodcarving & Gilding; PgDip Carving and MA Carving.We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional Woodcarver to join the Historic Carving team and work alongside our master carvers to teach carving practice up to 1 day per week during term time (30 weeks a year).”
