Jim Sharples is an established furniture maker looking for fellow furniture designer makers to share a 2000sqft workshop 25 minutes north of Bristol city centre.
He plans to fit it out with new felder machines (table saw/planar thicknesser/spindle and bandsaw) all fully extracted. As well as various other older pieces of kit and a spray booth. Before committing to the property he is trying to find out if there is a market for such a shared workspace with other designer makers. He would be looking to rent out three (full time) bench spaces at £500 per month each all inclusive, to be part of the main workshop. There will also be shared bench space on a mezzanine at £350 per month, aimed more at the part time/occasional maker. It’s in a quiet rural location, near Winterbourne, 25 minutes north of Bristol city centre. It is a secure farm site with parking. There will be office/tea room with internet. Regular exhibitions/open days are planned as well as developing links with the local community.
If you are interested and wish to be part of one of the best equipped workshops shared workshops around please contact Jim Sharples on 077868 48802 firstname.lastname@example.org. Spaces will be available from July 2016.
