Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Experimental Hand Embroidery Practice

The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery. Located at Hampton Court Palace, the RSN teaches a world-renowned undergraduate programme in Hand Embroidery which is validated by Kingston University. This new Lecturer / Senior Lecturer post will contribute to the curriculum of the Hand Embroidery undergraduate programme and the delivery of core modules from Level 4-6 in experimental hand embroidery. The successful candidate will work closely with the Course Leader as part of an experienced academic team.

The post will entail the development and delivery of practice based / industry led projects, studio-based teaching, formative and summative assessment, written and verbal feedback.
