Crafts Council: Head of Learning & Participation (Parental Cover)

Crafts Council are looking for a Head of Learning & Participation on a parental cover basis. This role will oversee all aspects of Crafts Council’s learning and participation work, including delivery of national craft education offer (Craft School), and Young Craft Citizens activities.

You will ensure that the young people’s programme builds its reach, and develop activity to specifically support learning & participation activity for marginalised and minoritised groups. You will line-manage, develop and support team members, as well as contribute to fundraising, bids and proposal writing.

You will bring knowledge and experience of learning and education in the arts and creative industries, and knowledge of best practice in working with children and young people. You will be skilled at building and maintaining partnerships with a range of stakeholders, with proven project and financial management experience.

Fixed term, full time to 31 May 2024, with the possibility of extension (up to 3 months). 36.25 hours per week.
