Oriel Davies Gallery is a key public art gallery of Wales, presenting world-class, thought-provoking and challenging art and craft by national and international artists in an environment that is welcoming, engaging, informative and free. The Gallery and exhibition spaces are family-friendly, physically accessible and ideal for experiencing contemporary art and craft.

Oriel Myrddin Gallery is Carmarthenshire’s centre for contemporary visual art, craft and design. They are the main publicly funded art and craft gallery for the South-West Wales region and are located in a listed Victorian building in the centre of Carmarthen.

As well as exhibiting contemporary craft makers, the gallery also has a commitment to education outreach work.

It’s open Monday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm.

Oxo Tower Wharf is an award-winning, landmark design destination situated on London’s South Bank. It is home to some of the UK’s most innovative and internationally renowned contemporary designers, restaurants, cafes, bars, and exhibition venues, gallery@oxo and Bargehouse. A great resource for makers and destination for those who love to support them.

Enjoy three galleries showing the best in national and international contemporary applied art, on-site makers studios, café and a retail gallery. Admission is free and there is free on-site parking.

Samson and Coles is a stunning contemporary jewellery gallery in the fashionable seaside town of Whitstable in Kent, showcasing the work of selected British Designers.

Open Tuesday – Saturday, 10.30 – 5.00.

Sara Preisler is a multi award winning jewellery designer and gallery owner. Based in two locations, Sara’s main gallery is set in the heart of Stratford upon Avon’s historic town centre crowning the top of the famous Henley Street, close to the Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust. The other is based in Birmingham’s Custard Factory in the shared arts space, the Zellig Courtyard.

In both of these beautiful settings Sara sells her own unique jewellery collections alongside other selected maker’s jewellery and design pieces, where each artist is carefully hand-picked to showcase a focus on the very best of British Contemporary Craft.

Sunny Bank Mills is a former textile mill which specialised in worsted cloth. The site in Farsley, Leeds, has been developed and transformed into a cultural destination with a contemporary art gallery, growing studio artist community, creative courses and events.

The Tayberry Gallery sells gifts, practical items and quality handmade. Everything is designed and made in Britain. Their changing collections include contemporary jewellery, ceramics, wood, textiles, illustrations, paintings, glass, sculpture and prints.

Open Monday – Friday 9.30-5.30pm and Saturdays 9.30 – 5.00pm.

The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, the beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors, displaying a range of contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares from over 200 artists every season.

It’s open daily, 10am – 5pm.

Found showcases a curated collection of local and UK handmade art and craft in their Dunbar gallery. With a special focus on sustainable quality craftsmanship, they are keen to support makers who re-use and upcycle as part of their work.

The Hub delivers an inspiring programme of contemporary craft, design, dance and creative arts experiences, in Sleaford, across North Kesteven and beyond and is home to the national centre for craft and design.

There is also a shop and cafe, as well as a dynamic learning programme of workshops, talks, classes, competitions, special events and performances for all people, ages and abilities.

Opening times are Monday to Sat 10am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm.

The Somerset Guild of Craftsmen is one of the oldest Guilds in the country and has been promoting the best of design and craftsmanship in the county for more than 85 years. All the makers are skilled, dedicated craftsmen and women who have undergone a stringent selection procedure to become a craft Guild member.

The Guild’s Gallery is open throughout the year showcasing and selling members’ work to discerning customers looking for something original, unique and beautifully made.

Situated in the historic waterfront Barbican area of Plymouth, this gallery showcases some of the very best jewellery designers from the UK.

Opening times: Mon & Tues 10.30am-4.15pm, Wed – Fri 10.30-5pm, Sat – 10.00am–5.30pm and Sun – 10.30am–4pm.

Established in 1984, West Yorkshire Print Workshop is the largest open access printmaking facility in Yorkshire. A friendly, supportive community of artists and printmakers with fully equipped studios for paper and textile screen printing, etching, aquatint, photo-etching and photopolymer gravure, linocut and woodcut, photo-plate and wood lithography, monoprint, drypoint, collagraph and letterpress.

The WYPW houses eleven studio spaces which helps support emerging and established artists. They also present exhibitions and run bespoke printmaking sessions for school groups.
