Barefoot Yarns

category: Textiles & Haberdashery & Knitting Suppliers

Barefoot Yarns . . . for people who tread softly on the earth!

Barefoot Yarns are one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly, hand spun, art yarns. Created with care, in my cozy, yarn-filled, workroom. Inspired by nature and the changing seasons, my yarns are full of texture and wonderful colour combinations.

I use high quality raw fleece, sourced from local farmers, which I then prepare and process by hand. First the fleece is cleaned and hand-painted, then carded and blended on a drum carder, before being hand spun, finished and labelled. Art yarns make any project special and totally unique. They are perfect for weaving, knitting, felting, doll’s hair and many other creative projects.
